28A – Your Exit Strategy

1)
I plan to exit the market by selling the business to who may interest in it. If there will be an opportunity to sell it with a large return in five years, I will sell it. Otherwise, I will keep running the business as long as it does not cost me too much money. My children have the right to choose their life path freely. They do not have to be a businessman like me. If they are interested in this business area and are able to look after the business, I will pass down my business to them. However, I won't push the process.
2)
I think sell the business in the future is the most appropriate method. I can exit the market with the right people keep on going and I make a profit from this.
3)
Of course, this will greatly change what I plan for the future. But I think the opportunity is as important as plan. As a result, I will keep an open mind for future planning.

27A – Reading Reflection No. 3

The article begins with the story of Jobs' childhood, followed by the description of his realistic distorted position and the transformation of his personality into persuasion.

It is indeed a capability that leaders need to possess, which gives me some enlightenment. In fact, during the process of watching, I found that many of his ideas were exactly the same as mine. Besides, he also paid attention to details in the speech, such as lighting, placement, background music and advertising. Everything was very detailed, and it should give the audience a visual and auditory impact. There are many classic points worth learning. For example, if you want to find a suitable person to take charge of a certain module, you should not do everything by yourself. Even if you are a genius like Steve Jobs, there are many places that you are not familiar with and need partners to help.

The best way to predict the future is to create it.

This is probably where I think jobs is most successful, whether it is adding a graphics control module to the computer, or taking the lead in using touch screen control on the phone, using iPad instead of netbook, bringing music into iTunes to explore new marketing mode, and using minimalist iPod to lead the progress in music field. Everything is at the forefront of science and technology, which can be called the future and has changed the world.

There are many flaws in Steve Jobs, such as arrogance and paranoia. But his talent can not be denied, and it is his efforts to turn things around that make apple create one myth after another. I don't think it would have been possible for him to have done it again without a passion for apple. The ordinary Jobs made an extraordinary career.

Living in silicon valley, Jobs had easy access to HP engineers at an early age, bought cheap electronics, and borrowed books from Stanford libraries. Although he dropped out of college, he was still able to stay in school and audit courses.

His paranoia about going completely vegan, fasting, taking psychedelic drugs, going to spirituality in India, and choosing the most expensive reed college because he didn't want to go to college didn't have much interference from his parents. It also made his paranoia worse and worse. I can't help wondering if I can tolerate my child being so paranoid.

If I got a chance to interview Jobs face to face, I would like to ask him about his future plan for apple and ask him to give me some advice.

26A – Celebrating Failure

The word "failure" seems too far away for me. But sometimes it's right next to me.

One day, I want to cook a Chinese dish by myself. It's called scrambled egg with tomato. My mother used to cook for me when I was young. I learned from my mother's appearance. First, I took out two red tomatoes, wash them and cut them into small pieces on the plate. Then I took out two eggs from the refrigerator and knocked them on the edge of the bowl. Then I broke the eggs. I put a little salt and monosodium glutamate in the bowl and stir with chopsticks for 2-3 minutes. Then, I set up the pot and turn on the gas stove. I stir the egg carefully into the pot. After a while, I put the tomatoes into the pot. At that moment, I suddenly smelled something terrible, like something is burning. I looked, the egg is burnt, I quickly turned down the fire. Finally, a pot of burnt flavor tomato scrambled eggs well, look at the pot of tomatoes, I feel very failure.

Life can't be plain sailing. There are always frustrations and setbacks. We have to learn from the failure, enhance courage. In this way, failure is a kind of wealth, which cannot be measured by money.

I learned many celebrities biography this semester. I am aware of how their lives changes and how they made through it. I am encouraged by them. My own failure is nothing compared to theirs. Keep thinking positive is my key to handle the failures.

25A – What’s Next?

Existing Market:
The business model is very mature and successful. The existing customers are who love gaming and own more than one devices. Technological progress is always achieved by solving practical problems. The emergence and development of wireless charging technology make electricity, a resource that is difficult to leave in modern life, convenient and easy to get. This will also promote the innovation and breakthrough of modern technology, products, and business model, and thus change the world. I believe the next step of my business is definitely made a better product and enhance service quality.
Currently, there are wireless chargers on the market with power between 5W and 10W. Many chargers can only meet the minimum power standards and charge at less than half the speed of a line. In terms of technology, wireless charging devices with a more stable connection, longer transmission distance, and support of "one-to-many" charging will also become the main research and development direction of my company.

New Market:
Right now my target customer group is young and rich people. But I think the business model can actually apply a lot broader target than this. "One-to-many" wireless charging is a better solution for charging. It supports longer charging distance and can support multiple devices charging at the same time. This technology should not be limited by the gaming area.
I am surprised by how wireless charging can be commonly applied. I think this is going to be a market with great potential.

24A – Venture Concept No. 1

With the maturity of wireless charging technology and the increasing popularity of devices supporting wireless charging, the demand for wireless charging will also grow rapidly in the future. The agency expects the wireless charging market to grow from $2 billion last year to $11 billion in 2019.

Wireless charging originates from radio energy transmission technology. Electromagnetic induction is often used for small power wireless charging, such as Qi method for mobile phone charging. The high-power wireless charging adopts the resonant mode, which is adopted by most electric cars. The power supply equipment transmits the energy to the electric device, which USES the received energy to charge the battery. Since the charger and the electrical device transmit energy with a magnetic field, the two are not connected by wires so the charger and the electrical device can be exposed without conductive contact.

The use of wireless charging in consumer electronics continued to expand last year. In the field of wearable devices, Apple Inc. launched the Apple Watch last year. As the iconic interface of this product, wireless charging will lead to the rapid development of wearable wireless charging products. At the end of last year, Samsung also launched wireless charging products, and more consumer electronics brands will be equipped with wireless charging functions in the future. IHS predicts that wireless charging device shipments will grow to about 900 million units in 2019, with a compound annual growth rate of more than 70 percent and market penetration of 60 percent as the volume of wireless charging devices continues to increase.

With the influx of traditional car companies, information and communication technology, and start-up companies, the wireless charging industry will benefit from a large amount of market demand and is expected to usher in rapid development opportunities.

Without the bondage of cables, it can realize computer operation in remote places, which is more suitable for home users and office users, and also suitable for users who pursue the best wireless experience. Wireless charging devices are convenient to carry and can make sure the computer desk is concise, those who saved to be short of line connection is mixed and disorderly.

Gamers usually have a lot of gaming equipment. Cumbersome lines and limited charging piles complicate life. Gamers are the biggest users of wireless devices. This convenience greatly enhances the game experience. Gamers are people who tend to update their lifestyles over time. They tend towards a more convenient life and very easy to adopt. My product is a simple but powerful charging table. The design concept of this product is to make wireless charging truly accessible and convenient. My product will be suitable for gamers with many gaming devices. Gaming devices include keyboards, headphones, mice and even everyday devices such as mobile phones and smartwatches. These devices can be placed on a wireless charging table for wireless charging. This product can reduce the dependence of the device on wired charging and reduce the clutter of the desktop.

Looking at the current various wireless charging manufacturers, the competition is mainly the following ways: appearance difference, one to many, fast charging.

The appearance is not too much to mention, vertical base, pie base, square base, alarm clock base and so on a variety of different appearance of the wireless charger in the third party platform everything. Better than who look, more fit the scene, the appearance of the consumer aesthetic, this kind of manufacturers will be too much thought on the appearance level. On the contrary, it is the internal performance, and not too much attention, only focus on the external doomed to be unable to long-term.

One-to-many charging is actually the demand point of many people. However, most existing wireless charging manufacturers simply put multiple transmitter terminals into the same mold, which makes it impossible to charge any corner like Airpower. On the surface, it seems that there is not much difference. In fact, the threshold of the former is about zero, and there is no high technical requirement.

Since the launch of the iPhone X, numerous online sellers have claimed that their products support 7.5w /10W quick charging. However, after investigation, most of them still maintain the standard 5W charging power, and claim and actual products are often mismatched. Moreover, with the current technical development of Qi, the 15W input voltage is already the highest level. Even so, the voltage that reaches the inside of the mobile phone is often less than 10W. Even Samsung's so-called quick charge can only output 9W at most.

From this perspective, the future of wireless charging is daunting but exciting.

In today's interconnected world, information equals opportunity. We live on an intelligent planet, surrounded by vast amounts of data. Information about each enterprise generated by people, equipment, and systems can be used to gain a competitive advantage. Taking the information contained in various systems throughout the enterprise and turning it into digital gold requires managing a huge amount of documents, emails, images, reports, and forms. By effectively managing the content within your company's systems, you can better connect people and information, extract business intelligence, and tap into a wide range of business opportunities.

Wireless charging technology have the characteristics of convenient, safe and high space utilization, wireless charging technology in the past was lower than expected, mainly lies in the low charging efficiency, the high cost, short distance and charging standards confusion and other issues, is now the bottleneck has been breached, wireless charging technology will usher in the golden period. The advantages of wireless charging go far beyond untethered cables. But humanity's ambitions for wireless charging extend beyond smart devices and electric cars. Wireless charging is a technology of the future. Imagine if the power in our daily life can be as popular as the wireless network, mobile phones, electrical appliances, cars and even aircraft can be anytime and anywhere to obtain energy, never power, then what kind of world will it be?

23A – Your Venture’s Unfair Advantage

1. Me. I, as an employee of my own, have basic marketing and manufacturing knowledge. Since I will graduate in one year from the University of Florida, I found myself a valuable but not very rare knowledge labor. Not very hard to copy by others and not very hard to find substitutes. However, it is most likely that I am going to pursue other degrees in the future, I am able to have a more competitive human capital.

2. Capital. I have established connections with a few investors who are especially interested in gaming related areas. I found them very supportive of my idea which combined gaming devices and wireless charging technology. I think they can help me with my initial financing and that is very valuable to an entrepreneur. This is a rare resource and, in my case, hard to find substitutes.

3. Technology. I have a couple of friends who are also students from the University of Florida. We met each other in an information system course. We all love playing games and we all business major. Because of the sharing interest, we became good friends and group members. I believe that they are my valuable social capital. Although they are not rare to find, they are not inimitable and non-substitutable.

4. Background & social network. I am an international student in the US. I have a lot of international friends that came from China. We shared the same culture and have a similar background. We are closer than ever since we all living and studying aboard.  We support each other in difficult conditions. They are my valuable resource, rare, and inimitable. They are non-substitutable.

5. Product. My business idea is to connect all gaming devices together and made them organized. As a result, people who love gaming and willing to purchase related devices will be a great target of my products. A noticeable characteristic of this target group is that they tend to try out new things and have plenty of money to spend on devices.

6. Production: I am familiar with the cheap labor force in China and I think it will be a great opportunity for me. I will have advantages during my production processes. This will be a valuable, rare, inimitable, and non-substitutable advantage for my business.
  7. Experience in E market. I used to open an e-shop on Taobao.com in China. I am familiar with the process of packaging and selling. I think it will be a valuable and rare ability for my business. However, it is easy to copy by others.

8. Good at Design. I used to learn drawing when I was little. Therefore, I have a good sense of aesthetic. It will be an advantage of mine. This ability is valuable but not rare. It is easy to copy by others and substitutable.

9. Familiar with business law. I am learning business law this semester. I am able to solve a few basic law problems on my own. This ability is valuable and rare. It is not inimitable and substitutable.

10. Culture. I think my future business culture will be very clear and strict. I believe that will help my business to success.

Among all the capitals, the most important and valuable one is my financial capital.
